Chloé Embodies Natural Femininity With New Fragrance, Lumineuse

French luxury brand Chloé is celebrating femininity, with the latest addition to their Signature fragrance line: Ea de parfum Lumineuse.

Just as the House has earned a reputation for designing liberating garments that accentuate, rather than distort, their wearer’s body, Lumineuse was designed to delicately draw out natural femininity with every spritz.

The scent is inspired by a freshly picked rose, and enhanced by velvety accents of jasmine, and the sweet richness of vanilla.

“I wanted to reinterpret the iconic Chloé Signature rose by guiding it into new territory,” explained perfumer Ane Ayo. “The idea was to create a wonderfully warm, delicate rose, and to bring out a more sensual facet of Chloé femininity without ever compromising on elegance.”

The fragrance’s vessel similarly embodies this aim. Housed in a chic glass bottle, Lumineuse features a radiant new signature, in the form of a beige ribbon hemmed in delicate pink tones tied to the bottle’s neck. The bottle itself is responsibly crafted from 25% recycled glass, while the ribbon is made from 100% recycled polyester. And of course, like other fragrance’s in Chloe’s offering, Lumineuse is a vegan perfume formulated with natural origin fragrance and denatured alcohol and water—nothing else.

And who better to front the launch of Lumineuse than British-American actress Lucy Boynton? To mark the occasion, the House released a dedicated campaign, featuring Boynton delicately moving through a natural landscape, punctuated by vibrant shots of a rose in bloom.
